  1. There's a first time for everything

    Sooooo... I was victim of theft less than twenty minutes ago. Yup, I was on the way to Uni when a guy in a bike stopped me and demanded my cellphone. He said he had a gun, and though I didn't see it, I didn't attemp to discover if he really had one: I gave him my cell.

    It really speaks something when that happened less than 50m away from the police station.

    I'm surprisingly calm, much to my own surprise. Thankfully he didn't take my bag, there wasn't anything particulary ...

  3. How can a book be that expensive

    Okay, so my chemistry class is currently studying lubricants (*braces himself for oncoming jokes*) and the teacher recommended a book from the library. Unfortunately (for most people), it is in english so roughly 99.9% of the class can't read it. Since there are only three copies of the book, I'm not complaining, but something surprised the hell outta me when reading though it.     So I got the grade of an albegra test I took last week. It was okay and I got a satisfatory grade, but then there was a question that I got it wrong but...

    Correct answer: 7/2
    My answer: sqrt(50)/2

    However, sqrt(50) = 7.07

    Doesn't this deserves at least partial credit?

  5. And that's how my life has been

    University has kept me busy (and away from BL) recently. And damn, I never did so bad in a test as I did now. My grades were actually pretty good in the first test, but fell down considerably in the second one ;_;. The limited number of books in the uni's library is also a hinderance, because all books are always with someone when I want to get 'em. Heck, we're studying corrosion in chemistry, and the deliver date for the books according to the library system is AFTER we finish the damn subject. ...
