I was going to get my hands on the solid gold edition and keep it safe until I get my hands on a vita, but it ran out of stock the day it went up for pre-order. I cried.

I'm hoping to net one of them when they eventually come out for us PAL folk, I'll hopefully have a system by then too.

    Don't hold your breath.

Not insider information or anything. It's no secret that Sega, who owns the IP, considered AP a failure, and I've read that the development was... troubled.

On my inital playthrough, I never really ended up exploiting this skill as much as I should have, even though I went for a mostly non-lethal playthrough. Maybe until the final battle with Darcy (your "partner", where I raged till I used that and the Xbox's re-gen shield gitch (sadly, I discovered the sniper rifle that I was suppose to use after the battle)

I'm one of those people who loved Alpha Protocol. Got it new when Gamestop put it on sale at 40 dollars right after it came out.
It's rough around the edges, but very awesome, and waiting till they make AP2.

Anyway, sounds like you had a ton of fun.

Chain Shot broke everything. A skill that destroys bosses and rooms full of enemies? Yeesh.

Instead it was unfavorably compared to Mass Effect 2. Even though it was better in several ways. Argh.

Am also looking forward to that south park RPG, I looked at the first few trailers thinking "ok when are they gonna show the gameplay" and then it hit me... that was gameplay, they made it look as crappy as the cartoon looks like today.

    Also, Roadbuster. *brofist*

I actually own Alpha Protocol (and I think I paid $10 for it), but I've yet to play it.

It, like a shitton of other games, are on my Steam list.

That reminds me... someone needs to bring back Cate Archer and NOLF back to the spotlight, those games were awesome.

    Good luck, mew!

Also, silly Gabrielos. The girl on the pillow is Catherine, from the game of the same name. It seems Atlus is doing a nice shout-out to that with their team; maybe people will notice! :3
