That being said, it's kind of intriguing that Nyarlathotep might have been inspired by Tesla. That would, in turn, shed new light on Robert Bloch's depiction of Nyarlathotep as an atomic-energy researcher in "The Shadow from the Steeple."

P.S. There's overwhelming amount of Ivans there anyway. But if you go for Rider class, you might want to use Yershov's tale "Конёк-горбунок" (Horsie-humpbackie?) that has Ivan as protagonist (as usual), but the central figure is a magical horse.
