Six days without internet is surprisingly enjoyable when on vacation. Earlier today my family and I finally got home from our yearly trip to the Frio River we take every year. No internet on account of no service in that area unfortunately. The river was at an okay height in comparison to most years. It's been higher but it's also been much lower and was reasonably nice to float on, though not on the last day since it started raining.

I remember the days when I assumed Twitter was shit and pointless. Then I was convinced by Snow to get one and I never used it. Now I won't shut up and half my tweets are from just the last week.

I hate today so fucking badly. After a day of continuous annoyances and chronic headaches I come home to find the door locked and family gone without telling me when they had been there two hours earlier and I have to walk the streets at night to a nearby relatives house to get a spare set of keys. And of course when I return I have to deal with the sounds from outside of dozens of drunk shits practicing for a wedding tomorrow being held tomorrow at our house for some stupid reason. How is it that Skype emoticons manage to look as awful as they do? It's like an awful late 90s-early 2000s digital abomination that physically hurt me when I see them. They must be purged.

After weeks of being unable to use Skype it has returned to me. It is glorious. It was a pain in the ass with out it and now all is right with the world. It feels good to be back on it.
