Sherlock's pretty good. MI-5 is better, though. Give it a whirl.

I find Jim, a bit underwhelming right now, but I haven't gotten to the last episode yet, so indeed, let's wait.

I actually expected her to do that the moment she said 'battledress'. You won't believe how many times I've come across it in my life, the weird things I've seen...

Anyway, I'm just quite shocked at the way they over stressed her sex appeal. I quite expected her to be of the intelligent and independent woman, which she was, surely, but the addition of this new trait was...well, I can't pinpoint exactly how I feel about it right now, but I was able to cope with it though, and I'm able to appreciate the effect of her influence on Sherlock.

I just find Scott... unimpressive. I mean, I can't keep a straight face with him. He's a bit ridiculous. Too... playful. That's the characterization I expect from, say, a psycho serial killer. Not from the (supposed, at least IMO), cool mastermind opponent of Sherlock. But I have yet to watch the last episode of S2, so let's wait.

^ well, I'm not an expert of Holmes stories, but I found her portrait realistic... in our modern setting.

The Sherlock TV one? Yeah ... that was interesting. Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't watched the episode:

    Spoiler:
A lot of people over here were deeply unimpressed about having so much of Irene's character/ability to deceive based on sex when that first came out, rather than flat-out brains. Or about her being helpless at the end until being saved by a man with a sword. Made a big fuss in some of the more left-wing media. I wasn't entirely comfortable with it - but not outraged either. Hm.

The only thing I can say it's that I don't like Andrew Scott as Moriarty. What kind of villain is that? I preferred much more Jared Harris in the latest Sherlock movie (in fact, him and Paul Anderson are the only things that saves A Game of Shadows, IMO).
Really? I thought that Moriarty fit Cumberbatch!Holmes quite well, being his dark reflection and all (they're both egotistical to the point of fault).

Also, NOTHING can save Game of Shadows

'Tis good. College doesn't want us watching iPlayer, so I can only catch up with it when I'm at home, but it's very enjoyable.

I'm quite transfixed, quite transfixed. I'm only on episode 3 and I find this take really refreshing, though in the early part of the first episode, I was a bit annoyed with the way Cumberbatch talked through his nose. I couldn't quite catch what he said especially with how fast he talked. But I finally got used to it by the end of the episode. I am definitely going to watch this till the end.
