    Last day of vacation.

    Supposed to be on the clock in approximately twelve hours.

    ......Man I hate that job and can't wait until it's done with.

    The latest news I've heard is that late March or Early April is fairly likely for my new job (which would let me have lots more time to myself) but even if I got the job then, I'd have to wait until I'm cut a check. The day after I got that check, though, I'd be putting in a two week notice at my current place.

    There's something incredibly satisfying about someone taking an old game, that us older farts would consider classic (and you young'uns never got to play in their prime because you weren't around then) and just completely, utterly, totally raping and destroying any appearance of challenge or skill necessary to play it.

    I'll put up eleven here that are all games I've played, and I think are marvelous and worth watching. If you've never seen a TAS before, you're in for a treat.

  3. Why are people so surprised Whitney Houston died?

    So apparently the news is making the rounds that Whitney Houston died today at 48.

    It's a shame, sure, but I wonder why people are so surprised by it. Like it's shocking. Like it's stunning. Like she was "cut down in her prime."

    Sure, 48 is pretty young to die, and it is a shame, but people seem to forget that the woman was really hard into coke for about 10 years. Certainly not perfect.

    I actually had someone get offended when I kind of shrugged ...

  4. These are the sorts of things I do on my days off.

    Well, I'm on vacation, but I just spent essentially the last nine hours trying to get this upgrade done and all the kinks worked out.

    To be fair, the forum upgrade only took approximately an hour and a half. That was nothing. Aside from a few files that somehow didn't get uploaded, that went smooth.
