Over the past few days I've been touching up, updating, and generally rewriting my old resume. It desperately needed an update and a rewrite because of my major change, but I've been going back to it because my hope is to get an internship this summer. Now every time I try to watch or read something I end up sitting there wondering what kind of message it's trying to send, and whether or not it challenges stereotypes or enforces them. No seriously, I watched Rizzoli & Isles last week and then spent the day after trying to figure out if the show enforces or challenges female stereotypes.
