Burn the bonfires, not your houses!

Yesterday I went to a walk in the nearby nature reserve, to observe spring nature. The reserve is in town, so it's quite popular, and there were lots of other people, most of them with dogs. But they mostly walked this wide path that goes around the area, the smaller path up the hill was pretty deserted, I think I saw only two people there. And because there was quiet, also forest animals were hopping around there. So I almost bumped into a fox.

A couple of days ago one old song started to play in my head, so of course I needed to find it from YouTube: Terry Jacks' "Seasons in the sun". I listened to both English and Finnish version (which was the "original" for me, I heard it a lot when I was a kid) while I was playing solitaire (when I should have been cleaning etc, but that's another story...).

Because I listened it many times, I became really aware of the lyrics, and some googling was needed. Terry ...

I was gonna write more blog-posts of plumbing renovations, but never got up to it. Now renovations are over, I have a new shiny (and expensive) bathroom, and I have moved back home. I have cleaned a lot, but my apartment is still a big mess. *sigh* I hate construction dust with passion! And I haven't even unpacked all my stuff. *another sigh*

But now I have a dishwasher! We haven't installed it yet, some electrical works are needed, and we have to rip down a part of one cupboard. But ...

I have now holes in my walls at home, in my kitchen, bathroom and hallway. They lead straight to my neighbours' apartments. I hope they don't have any small pets that would come for a visit through them.

Though I think that most of my neighbours are not living at home atm, just like me. The only one I know is the one who lives just above me. I don't understand how she can, there is so horribly dusty and dirty now...
