So we thought my aunt was joking about getting us a cat

Turns out she wasn't. Suddenly:

Since we unwittingly gained a bit of a theme with our dogs (our little sister named them Spock and Rocky (no she hasn't watched the relevant movies. She was like 3 and 10 at the time)), kitty is now named Luke.

    I get the Spock and Luke bit, Kyte, but how does Rocky fit in? I mean, if going by sci-fi, it'd have to be a different name (or so I'm postulating).

    My little sister named them. I just spotted the relationship between the 2 and figured might as well extend it for the 3rd.
