How to explain FSN

So I got someone into FSN, and he asked me how Shirou and Gil's powers were different, because he is confused by all the sword rain. I wanted to explain it simply, because I didn't want him to be further confused.

newbiedude: how does UBW and GoB
me: Gil has all the originals of every weapon in the world, but Shirou can copy all those weapons and he can make more of them at the same time, just of lower quality.
newbiedude: so quantity over quality?
me: yep
newbiedude: so Shirou is like China?
me: ....kinda?
newbiedude: k.

Was my summation good enough or did I over-summarize?

    He said it, not me, I just found that his response kinda made sense at the time and went along with it.

    How is it racist when it is basically true for a given definition of true? It's well known that stuff from China is often times of a lower quality than that assembled elsewhere. It's a fair assessment to make.

    Easy, I can have a German car that lasts 10 years with maintenance. But I could probably build 50 Chinese cars for the same price and in total they'll last longer, because I can get them faster and cheaper than one quality product. XD
