Volume 7 summary, part 1 of 4

Vol7 Ch1
The day after the sports festival, September 20 – after school Jiro’s leaving, and he hears someone calling him ‘onii-chan’. He ignored it and tried to escape as fast as he can, too scared to confront the source of that voice. Shure had enough of being ignored so she jumped onto his back and put him in a neck-hold. When Jiro finally acknowledged her talking to him she let go. It turns out she’s only here for skinship and not for anything serious.

Jiro asks to be called something else, since ‘onii-chan’ gives him bad vibes; he was beaten up regularly by Kureha calling him that. Shure gave him 13 different other options including ‘onii-chan’, ‘onii-chama’, ‘nii’, ‘nii-sama’, ‘onii-tama’, ‘onii-sama’, ‘aniki’… and told him only one of the 13 doesn’t lead to a bad end. Jiro snarked this isn’t a galgame. Then Shure told him the one that doesn’t lead to a bad end instead lead to a dead end.

Snarking and jokes aside, Shure asked him why did he ignore Nakuru’s calls yesterday. Jiro handed her his cellphone’s call log and told her there’s been 120 calls by Nakuru before he blocked her. Shure said Nakuru didn’t want to use texting since it’s too embarrassing – and that she gets nervous by looking at Jiro’s glasses when she talks to him. Jiro snarked that shouldn’t it be nervous looking into the other person’s eyes and not the glasses.

Jiro sid he didn’t return calls because he was busy yesterday. Shure says she’ll trust him since he seems to be taking care of Usamin (Usami). Due to how Usami changed to be a bit more open to others members of her club had guessed it’s all due to his ‘influences’. Jiro denied they ever went there. It’s common ‘knowledge’ in the club that Jiro’s keeping Usami like a pet.
Jiro praised Shure for being caring towards her kouhais. Shure blushed and Jiro found out Shure get shy easily from being praised. He gave in to the ‘dere’ and patted her head (despite Shure said the one thing she hates the most is being patted that way) while praising her continuously, and Shure flopped down like a cat. Jiro was about to stop the patting due to his gynophobia acting up, but then Nakuru showed up and asked what he was doing. She’s been watching since Shure asked him what she can use to call him.
Nakuru says Shure seems to be enjoying herself, in public no less. Nakuru broke down as Shure had promised to support her but now it appears Shure betrayed her. Nakuru then forced down a can of soda into Shure’s throat, saying she’ll show Jiro another side of her sister and her weakness – she gets drunk via soda. Jiro snarked saying isn’t that Nakuru’s weakness?

Nakuru when ‘drunk’ strips other people’s clothing off. Shure strips her own clothing off when ‘drunk’. Jiro tackled Shure over to prevent her taking more clothing off. Nakuru saying this is payback, so Shure can be embarrassed in front of Jiro, and that from experience Shure will at least leave her underwear on. Shure was about to break free and take more clothes off (Jiro’s getting weaker from gynophobia, and even with her drunkenly weakened strength Shure was about to overpower him) but Subaru showed up.
Subaru saw a half dressed Shure (loli-type body) and Jiro over her, reached the conclusion Jiro needs to be punished. Cue ‘end of earth’ technique (see Vol1 and/or anime episode 1(?))
Later, Nakuru explained everything and solved the misunderstanding (Shure’s the one that took her clothes off, not Jiro). Shure dragged Nakuru away and needless to say what awaits Nakuru.

Jiro and Subaru got back to Kanade’s mansion. Jiro’s glad Subaru’s father has to serve Kanade’s father so he won’t be tortured by him, but Subaru said it’s not that simple. Jiro’s not supposed to know Subaru’s a girl so they’ll have to keep up the act even here.

Kanade introduced Jiro and Kureha to the other servants. The head cook (girl – see anime) was in hospital due to Subaru’s wrestling technique after trying to do things to her. Went down 30 times via Subaru’s ‘limit break’ before she stayed down. Jiro wants to let her be Kureha’s punching bag instead of him from now on. Kanade and Subaru ordered brain scans done to see if there’s anything wrong with the cook for her to go after Subaru like that.

Jiro met the only other servant around at this time. A maid with a eyepatch (named Ichigo? I'm bad with translating names, so I'll be using this one from now on). She warned Jiro if he tries anything on Kanade she’ll use the chainsaw (with the sharp bits of the saw removed) on him. Kanade took Jiro to where he’s staying : a tent outside since the maid doesn’t trust him. Subaru was ordered to retrieve Jiro’s work clothes and it turned out to be a furry dog-suit. Kanade wasn’t kidding about calling Jiro her dog last volume.


Vol7 Ch2
Jiro raged at being treated like this. He was tricked into wearing the dog suit and found it surprisingly comfortable. Then Kanade informed him the suit can’t be taken off once it’s zipped up unless the remote is used. She ‘conveniently’ forgot which button lets Jiro out so he had to experiment. One of them was a electric shock and Kanade commented it was for massaging. She also comments one of the functions is increasing breast growth via massaging and Subaru became very interested in the suit.

Jiro asked Kanade about Ichigo, and Kanade informed him she tends to hide and spy on her so he should watch what he says. Then Ichigo shows up and almost beheads him with the chainsaw, warning him not to get to casual with Kanade as she’s the boss and they’re only servants. Kanade says they’re also her friends too so go easy on Jiro.

Kanade left and gave Ichigo the remote. Jiro was given the task to clean the mansion and Ichigo told him if he doesn’t finish today he don’t get to eat. And if he slacks off he gets the shock treatment. Ichigo considered making the voice-activation ‘thundega’ (Final Fantasy reference).
Ichigo told Jiro to start with the bathroom, since she had to leave to buy ingredients for dinner as the head cook is away. Jiro went in and saw Kanade is in there naked (her back is towards him), and shrieked. Kanade snarked it’s normally the girl that does the screaming in this situation. Jiro said he’s here because Ichigo told him to, and Kanade figured out it’s Ichigo’s plan to get Jiro fired. Normally any girl wouldn’t want to have a guy that saw her naked living in the same place as her. Jiro understands that as he once saw Subaru naked by accident and seems to be hated by her for quite a while after.
However, Kanade’s not a normal girl and she considered if she chases Jiro out then he’ll have no place left to go. And then she commented she has no problem seen by a ‘chicken’ like him since he’s not a guy in her eyes. Jiro tried to leave after that, pissed off by that comment but Kanade doesn’t allow him to go, hugging him from behind (pressing her definitely-not-flat chest onto his back) and tying a blindfold over his eyes. She told him to wash her, as she normally get Subaru to do this but Subaru’s not here right now. This is partly to cure his gynophobia.

Jiro asks is this really alright, since Ichigo might be waiting to catch him in action and punish him. Kanade says that’s not likely, as once Ichigo saw her naked in the baths head on and ended up fainting from bloodloss (nosebleed) – so she won’t risk that kind of danger. Kanade says washing her back is enough, but coyly asks him if he wants to wash the front as well. Jiro vehemently rejected the offer, as he don’t want to die in a way worthy of a Jack-the-Ripper murder where there’s no wound but plenty of blood.

Kanade told Jiro to take off the paws and use his hands to wash her. A soapy towel is given to him to start washing. Jiro starts, thinking he had done something similar to Subaru before but he’d never considered he’d be doing the same for Kanade. Kanade sounds so calm he’s sure he should never play poker or 21 with her. Jiro says Kanade is the devil and the baths here is hell, and the only way out is to sell his soul. After a few swipes Kanade told him that towel is getting old and thus not good for her skin, so he should rub her back with only his hands. He did so, and as soon as he touched her back he almost had a nosebleed, since it felt so soft and warm.

After he’s done Kanade says Subaru normally takes longer, though that might be due to the time taken for Subaru being forced to strip naked as well. Jiro tried to picture that and almost caved to his nosebleeding. Kanade says he can go now, and asks how does he feel. He says he’s tired, and he should really get something for enduring this. Kanade says sure, she’ll do that and give him a reward (since even a dog gets rewards for a job well done), and Jiro cursed his carelessness for saying that in front of Kanade. Kanade says she’ll give Jiro a kiss, and his thought suddenly froze. After much teasing Kanade kissed the tip of his fingers (as opposed to his lips), and Jiro’s pissed at how thoroughly he’s trolled by his expectations. He says he’s leaving, but Kanade says she’s not done with his reward yet. Kanade began a hot & passionate kiss onto his hand, biting, sucking and licking his fingers. Due to his eyes being blindfolded his sense of touch seemed much better than usual.

Jiro fell unconscious from the intensity of the experience, and the last words he thought he heard was Kanade telling him she’s gone to the dark side just to be hated by him (Flere821 note: so she won’t ever be a candidate to steal his heart away from Subaru), and all this is his fault for making her heart pound so much.

Goddamnit Yukari Kanade
