For those of you bored enough to be following my story, you may know that for the last few years I have been preparing to seek a military commission as a therapist. Completing my licensure. Starting my medical residency have been the major chapters recently. I have also, since approximately February 20th, been fighting a Permanent DisQualification (PDQ) due to having gotten eye surgery when I was 18.

that PDQ was officially over turned today. There are many steps I will need to go through ...

So a quick recap of my work for the purpose of this story. First off, I volunteer at a charity organization for my master's program. Or at least I did, seeing as how I graduate on the 12th. Anyway, I handle client evaluations who come in looking for different charity and assistance.

to verg and I were chatting the other day about food, and I mentioned I wanted some curry. No big surprise, curry rocks. well, a little while later we were chatting and aximilli (ax) from the animorphs came up and verg mentioned cinamon rolls would hit the spot. That caused me to playfully say something like "mm, have some curry and then for desert, CINNABON!

verg thought a bout it a moment and mentioned he had heard that indians actually used cinnamon as a spice occasionally, ...

So, for those of you who ddnt catch this on the birthday thread, a while back emohawk had an opportunity for a certain amount of malicious fun. A good friend of mine had been depressed by his 30th birthday because it and his 1 year old son were impressing on him how old he has gotten. Being aware of this, as a birthday gift, I presented him with a nice, well made...cane.
