Not the girl, the hurricane. So 2 million other New Yorkers lost power, some people were killed by falling trees, it was flooded up to 23rd street in Manhattan, parts of Brooklyn, etc. I lost internet for a week. Still, this was only a Category 1 when it hit, and it didn't even hit NYC directly!
And I'll leave it to you to figure out why. The only clue I'll give you is, it's not what it seems like on the surface! Go on. Do some fractions. What are you waiting for?
Now I'm not very experienced with Beast's Lair culture, but when I think of fanfiction I think of posting my story to a forum and, for good or ill, getting comments back. But apparently, thanks to my experience here, I've learned something. Or mis-learned something.
