But man does that wheel and those pedals definitely need some replacing.

In fact, pretty much all of the bottom metal does.

Small price compared to the shaker motor actually still working. And none of that will actually need to be replaced. That rust will come off pretty easily. The inner workings of those pedals are still in great shape.

And... there's next to nothing wrong with that wheel. Is there something off in the picture?

It looks a little nicked and dinged up on the left and bottom, though that may just be the way the light's hitting it.

Have you also tried to get a classic shooter game?

Fuck, that had to be expensive.

@Nick: It was $300... Which is maybe $50 more than that monitor in it cost, really.

@Darples: There are some minor nicks in it, but really nothing that affects it. There's also some small cuts in the sideart and a very small cigarette burn on the plastic bezel. These are things I can replace down the road, but there's nothing immediately wrong with it. And for something that's not over 25 years old, but also has been in an arcade (Still has the license sticker on it) where it was played by hundreds of people that didn't give a shit about it cause it wasn't theirs, it's in amazing shape. I seriously can't believe that shaker motor is still in perfect condition.

@Chaos: While not a shooter in the traditional sense, my next target is After Burner.

Well, if you do get a rail shooter, I'd recommend Space Gun and Terminator 2.
