First day of ENEM: survived (somehow)

Rate this Entry
And the first day of ENEM is finally over.

For those who don't know it, ENEM is short for Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (National High School Exam), a big exam that covers all that is taught in High School (and by extention, Elemental and Middle School). At first it was just an exam to show how well people who are in High School are, but now 99.9% of public universtities use its grade as their entry exams.

The exam spans two days: in the first day there are 90 questions regarding the subjects of History, Geography, Philosphy, Sociology, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The second day covers Portuguese, Literature, Mathematics, Foreign Language (either English or Spanish) and Text Composing. As you can see it is a very long exam and I survived through the first day... somehow.

There were obvious questions, easy ones, average ones, hard ones... to sum it up it was exactly how I expected it: not hard per se, but extremily tiring.

And I still have to endure it again tomorrow. BEST WEEKEND EVER (until now, that is).

And to think, in ten years, you'll wish it was this easy.

    You had ENEM too?

    How did you do today?

I want these ten years to come as slow as they can.

More or less, I think. Some questions were easy, and the majority was average with only a few hard ones. But I'll have to wait for the final result.

There are some sites with non-official results.

Check one, I want to compare mine to someones!

No thanks, I'm the type of person that doesn't check the results ahead. Mainly 'cause I tend to get "depressed" when I find out my results.

To catch up with the sun, but it's sinking,
Racing around, to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same, in a relative way, but you're older,
Shorter of breath, and one day closer to death."
