Rage Quitting Time!

I think I should be frank about this, I'm pretty pissed at the fandom right now in general. Now, I'm not going to quit being an Admin here, but what I am doing is taking a break from writing fanfiction. Part of this is stemming from the fact that there's so little of it that I enjoy that I read. Seriously I follow "Chaos Theory" and Kirean's "Trinity" series and that is about it.

Right now, there's nothing that the fandom is offering me, and part of that is my fault I think. Because of what I write, I either intimidate other writers or they get an Archer centric idea it's generally, "Well, Elf will write it so why should I?"

So, for an indefinite amount of time, I'm going to be taking a break from fanfiction. I'm not leaving the fourm, but I'm not going to be writing anything for it for a while. It just seems a fruitless exorcise and I can work on stuff that has more meaning to me.

However, until my return, maybe you can see what I really write.

So, until later.

    I agree, as well but all the same enjoy your hiatus and I hope you can relax and maybe find some good archer fanfiction....somewhere.

    Thanks guys. As for not writing anything, I do have some original stuff in the works that could potentially get me paid a good deal of cash. The best part of it is, if it works out, it'll be free for you guys to read!

    Also, there is "Scream Queen" to enjoy in the mean time, because if you haven't read it yet, you're in for a treat.

    Yeah, it's a shame. You're one of the relatively few authors that writes stuff I actually like.

    I do see your point about the fandom, though, it does mostly seem to be made up people who just want to read and write grimdark stuff, and I can count the number of authors who don't almost invariably ignore Sakura on the fingers of one hand....

    Already did this, highly recommend it. I ignore 95% of the stuff written here unless someone whose taste I trust recs it.
