Bleach is... not a good series, by most standards.

The art is sloppy, the writing is childish at best, and the plot is a seemingly impossible combination of completely insane and painfully simplistic. At this point, if I actually bother to read it, it is only to see how deeply the trainwreck has managed to crash lately.

So... so why, of all the series to inspire a new plotbunny in me. Why that one?

    Ranked "Outstanding" in the "insecure mindless sheep going through puberty"-standard.

    It actually probably doesn't suck that much, I watched maybe first couple episodes and they seemed moderately interesting.

    Bleach has some pretty good ideas. The execution has always been hit or miss, and it's been missing more often, of late. Some of Kubo's fashion designs, though, are incredible. . .

    It inspires you because it had the potential to be good, but then flopped and became hilariously, sickeningly bad.

    @Dark Pulse: The standard that admits it's still making a ridiculous amount of money despite being complete shit. But that's the sell-out standard.

    It has a good sense of fashion. Also some neat splashes here and there.

    So putting some sort of Religious symbol on Clothes instantly makes it incredible

    Tite Kubo is the well-known Japanese fashion designer behind the Bleach clothing line. Tite launched the clothing line in 1998, selling it exclusively out of Urahara Shōten.
    Bleach is known for its vibrant use of colors and its emphasis on wearability. Tite set out to create a line that anyone, be they models or any other well-proportioned young adults, could look good in. He has a keen eye for trends and has an uncanny ability to predict what people will want to wear, and what they should wear, in his line and in others.
