Random Ideas: Outsider Class

Outsider

Not necessarily a being from another dimension, but an entity that embodies the concept of 'Outside Context Problem'. A being that might even look like the normal concept it tries to mimic, and it might even be considered a genuine article from where it originates, but it's inherent workings and limitations are different from the current norm.

It have a varied stat setting without a clear pattern, and can often break rules established for summoning, such as having more than three Noble Phantasm if summoned as an Heroic Spirit Servant, or having more personal skills than reasonable.

Class Skills

Otherworldliness: Measures how much of it's own rules influence the outside world, and how much of the world inherent rules are imposed on the summon. The higher the rank, the least impact the world will have on the Servant, and the more the Servant can impact and distort the world for extended periods of time. It's full repercussions vary depending on what is summoned and it's inherent abilities.

Other(s): A member of this class might usually have another secondary class skill to emulate another 'real' class though the actual source of this ability doesn't come from the class itself, but one of the Servant inherent existence or innate abilities.

Examples

"You got to be shitting me! Out of all places to be, I'm on Goddamn Fuyuki, during the Fucking Holy Grail War, as the official Servant of the most useless master ever!"

Otherwordliness (D): Coming from what he calls 'the real world', were magic and the mystical remains exclusively on the realms of legends and fairy tale. This translates into a form of magical resistance that rejects magical energy, in practical terms it generally works as Magical Resistance (D) though if certain conditions are meet it can go as high as A.

Independent Action (A): R1zonMaster is a very economical servant, so low in fact that it can be sustained by the normal Od level an average person without circuits possess over it's existence, and it's Noble Phantasm uses either normal electricity (110v) to recharge or something else to work.

Chinese Martial Arts (C): The knowledge of the Servant in Martial Arts, changed in order to become a skill to be applied to real life situations instead of merely sport. At this rank it can defeat multiple unarmed opponents without training safely, and it keep it's own against a master of equal physical power though actually winning is still nearly impossible.

Eye for Artifact (B): Being a 'fan' of the universe he is in, he made sure to learn a lot about it, though his field of expertise were the Noble Phantasms, Conceptual Weapons and assorted magic items, alongside with designing his own on his free time. This translates in this world as the ability to automatically figure out the workings of any mystic code it comes across as if it were the creator, and to figure out the true name of a Noble Phantasm it comes across with a successful luck check even if it doesn't have a physical shape so long as it is currently being used. If he pass he also have some insight on how the Noble Phantasm works as if he saw it being used before once.

Overlooked (B): Since the Servant have an ordinary origin, it usually emits only a small amount of magical presence. Just enough to be recognized as a below average magus even while being a servant himself, and enemies and allies alike often overlook his presence. That doesn't translate into stealth, merely put him into the category of 'harmless'. High enough levels of perception or an individual properly paranoid might find out his nature as a Servant, but as a general rule it can safely pass himself as an ordinary high school student.

Disengage (D): Discretion is the better part of valor, and he tries to live by this philosophy in this dangerous event. It gives a bonus to Agility, Endurance and Dodge while running away from a single opponent it was engaged in combat.

Inspiration of the Heavens, Support, A: A device called iPad with WiFi always connected to the internet even if the current time doesn't have. It is connected to the 'real world' internet at the displayed time/date on the device, and all it's browser homepage leads to a thread in a forum where a 'game' is played. The game is a reenactment of the events surrounding the Servant, and are 100% accurate if limited at times. The timeline is also slightly off, sometimes showing certain events in advance, something showing 'what ifs' that leads to Dead Ends, and unfortunately certain events implicitly determine his next course of action in certain situations with the servant being unable to affect it's outcome.

It might take a while to read everything after a certain amount of time passes, and certain information on different points of view might become unavailable at certain points.

Divine Decree, Anti-Unit/Anti-Mystery (A++): Described as 'the GM throwing a bone to the poor victim', it gives a miracle to the Servant if he passes in a luck check, so long as the miracle is immediately relevant to achieving a short term goal, and so long as its immediate effects doesn't cause great harm to third parties directly affected. On a similar vein, the spell/item/N.Phantasm it might effect must be of rank lower than this N.Phantasm.

A valid miracle is to 'dodge completely the Noble Phantasm Gae Bolg', since it is a N.Phantasm of rank B. On the other hand it can be used to defend against stronger attacks in unconventional ways, such as surviving an attack from Ea, an EX rank N.Phantasm by calling the miracle 'the King of Heroes aim is greatly off to his left', letting the servant to escape, but it can't call the miracle 'the King of Heroes aim is off and hits the Servant Berserker on his left' unless it is certain the Servant Berserker can survive it with minor wounds.

The Servant can also 'break' this Noble Phantasm and cause instant death on any target with luck bellow B rank and Servants with higher luck must make an opposed luck check to resist this effect, and even if it survives it still takes considerable damage regardless of resistances or regenerative powers. Once broken, this Noble Phantasm becomes a curse that brings back luck and misfortune to R1zonMaster with rank proportional to the amounts of uses of this N.Phantasm while setting his luck at E--.

Background: R1zonMaster is a false entity that is actually the Avatar of an IC character in a RP thread based on the works of Nasu Kinoko, most explicitly Fate/Stay Night. It isn't a real person, but rather that perception of real person being projected in a different work that is 'fictional' to him. Though it might act like the mirrored person for the most part, it is nothing more than a puppet to a higher being that tries to amuse himself with it's 'game'. R1zonMaster isn't even capable of acknowledging the fact that his whole existence is fictional, and once it's purpose is fulfilled either in dead or by achieving the 'final of the story' it will simply cease to exist immediately.
