Raven's house of Gaming

So... About that computer build.

Just ran into my first problem, this is a catastrophic error that has completely demoralized me and has turned any enthusiasm I had towards this endeavor on it's head, what's this you say? was it static? did the motherboard just crack right down the middle? did I installed the CPU wrong? did my PSU overloaded? No!

Spoiler:

I didn't get enough standoffs

That's strange. Motherboards usually come with enough for the standard holes, plus a spare one or two.

    Does the motherboard have more?

Nail the case to your wall.

The Motherboard didn't even come with them (it came with 2 SATA wires, the standard SLI connector and IO shield) this single one comes from my case itself, I'm guessing this was a mistake in the packaging and I was supposed to get anywhere form 8 to 10 of them, I just laughed more than anything else since this suckers are cheap as hell. Just gonna see if I can find some locally or I'm gonna have to order some online and wait a couple of days.

It possibly could be a case where the standoff "holes" are actually met by little protrusions and there is a place where only a single one is screwed down?

That would be unusual as hell though.
