Lesbians (Or Why Everything I Write Is Usually Gay).

Some of you may remember this lovely little line from the Afterword of Shinderella, as said by Moczo himself:
And sad to say, it is true. Mostly because seriously, this man is my best friend, he knows my mind far too well.... Your mind is just 'YuriYuriYuriYuriYuriYuri', isn't it?
But yes, you all may have noticed by now the shocking number of lesbians in most of my work. And as much as I would like to say that it's because I secretly hate het, it's.... really just that way because I happen to really like writing about girls in love. It all started when I saw Kannazuki no Miko at about the age of sixteen or seventeen, and joining the Nanoha fandom probably didn't help.
(I do, on the other hand, have mixed emotions on yaoi. But that's mostly due to a friend in high school who was yaoi-crazy, and overdosed me on the stuff.)
As for why I write about FSN lesbians, well... besides the fact that Nasu makes it far, far too easy for me (seriously! So much subtext! And Sakura and Rin are supposed to be sisters!), I admit that it's honestly because I find the ladies of FSN fascinating (yes, even Sakura), and Shirou.... well. Um. Kind of hopelessly boring. Which isn't his fault, he's an H-game protagonist, he kind of has to be a blank slate for you to project onto him, but it makes writing him very difficult to do otherwise because my overall opinion of him is 'Meh'.
Not to say I dislike him, I like him a lot. And I've written him with Rin a few times. I just find it far more fun to pair the ladies off with each other.
So, yes. I write gay stuff. I will probably continue to write gay stuff.
Why stop now?
