I'm pretty much going to sum up what you guys already probably know already. I dislike Lantzblades a lot. Dislike is actually not a strong enough term, and neither is hate. He causes me an actual sense of physical pain whenever he pops up, and I think I know the reason why.

It's like looking into a god damn reflective mirror where I can see where I might have ended up instead of trying, actually trying, to improve my writing and my stories, of accepting criticism as something that even if angry and caustic, is beneficial because you learn just what people think, no matter what that is. Knowing what other people think, and how they see something is how I start working on improving my style, myself, and my own sense of what's good enough. I'll admit I'm sometimes fishing for the approval of others, because I'm so harsh on my own writing at times it actually makes me feel hesitant to continue without having someone tell me if it's good or not.

The only fic I've posted here without a beta or someone to bounce ideas off of and give myself a more concrete vision of what I should be writing, was my aborted 2014 contest fic. And I personally consider it some of my weakest writing and just lacking in what I wanted to showcase in a first chapter.

This is why I loathe lantzblades. He makes no effort to improve. He makes no effort to try and learn why other people dislike his fic even when we clearly state the reasons. Instead, he goes and cries about legitimate criticism to the mod team, gets his threads locked, or deletes them entirely because he can't accept the simple fact that some people won't like your work. He refuses to consider anything that would make his Mary Sue, if not good, at least not the canonraping eyesore he is. He hides behind defenses that are frankly absurd, and his attitude towards certain things is... disturbing (apparently watching someone getting raped and then being fed that person as a smoothie would have no serious psychological trauma, and rape isn't that bad if someone can heal your hymen!) to say the least. To anyone who's betaread for him before, my heart goes out to you, because I can't imagine just how plain bad this was before you guys attempted to do some damage control.

So yeah. If I get banned, this is my testament to why. I hate lantzblades because but for the grace of the omnissiah, I could be just as damn bad. I hate him because he refuses to get the message that nobody likes his special snowflake. I hate him because the mods seem to think he's worthy of special treatment for acting like a brain damaged chimp, and because he seeks to kill any sort of possible method of improvement for his writing.

I hate him so I hate myself less.
