Unlimited Blade Works - A Conspiracy Theory; Probably dumb, but I wanted to lay this out

I came up with an odd theory a few days back when I was re-reading UBW. This is going to be a little deep with a lot of conjecture and a lot of reaching, but has anyone ever stopped and thought how convienent it was for Shirou and Archer to develop Unlimited Blade Works? There are many possible sword-related things that could have happened for his magic and/or Reality Marble, and yet he somehow develops the one ability that perfectly matches up with and surpasses Gilgamesh?

Looking back at what we know of Gaia, Alaya and the Counter-Forces, I've come to a hypothesis that the events from the end of the 4th War to the end of the UBW route is all a result of a plan put into action by Alaya. I remember looking at some source material a while back (I can't remember exactly which; I don't often look for these things with TM because the universe is so fucking expansive) and read that Alaya can influence individuals into doing her work, such as with Jeanne. I've been wondering if perhaps something similar was done with Shirou. Sure Shirou can think that the Fire brought forth from the Grail at the end of the 4th War seared away everything he had, but what if it was Alaya crafting something into motion to deal with Gilgamesh and/or Avenger inside the Grail, having recognized the threat that one/both are to humanity?

When I started to think of that possibility, the pieces just seemed to click into place as at least "plausible". Continuing along this train of thought I also began to think, "what if Alaya also influenced Kiritsugu?" That lead even further to perhaps she had been manipulating him from at least the moment where Kiritsugu killed his father to plant the ideal of being a hero of justice in his head. The possible conspiracy continues on into the 4th War where Kiritsugu eventually forces Saber to destroy the Grail and the fire erupts. He finds Shirou as he searches for survivors, and the wheel continues to turn from there.

It's like, Kiritsugu was the perfect tool for Alaya to use Kiritsugu to destroy the corrupted Grail in the 4th War before it could be used by Gilgamesh and/or Kotomine, and again it's far too convenient for another tool (Shirou) that was crafted perfectly to destroy a reoccuring threat after Gilgamesh got splashed by the Grail. Craftsman are reluctant to part with their tools as well, and retains Shirou in the end when he makes the contract with her to become a Counter-Guardian and thus, Archer.

Alright now with that theory of mine out, I don't know if I'll respond to any comments about this for anyone that wants to refute them. I'm not looking to get into possible arguments over what I do and do not (most likely do not) know or anything. I'm more then likely just reading into things too far into things as I doubt even Nasu would develop things this far intentionally, but it came to be a fun concept for me to see Alaya's shadow hang so heavily over this whole theory as I constructed it and broke things down.

Except Alaya doesnt make plans, it just deals with stuff if theres no other choice anymore. Its not exactly intelligent.

i don't even know why this is a thing that needs to be explained

Either way the whole point of the counter force is that you can insert it into anything and have it make sense.
That's why the debate if the counterforce moves or not is an endless one.

I'm more of the opinion that Nasu loved sword spam so much he couldn't refrain from putting them on two(three?) characters
