Why do I TV?

I barely even watch TV anymore with the exception of Saturday Night Live, Law and Order: SVU, and old reruns of The Golden Girls. Mainly old reruns of The Golden Girls. I don't even know why. I've been watching it for years and have probably seen every episode at this point. Yet I still watch for Bea Arthur and friends. It's always really awkward too, because I have to change the channel from LOGO to something else or risk having to answer some very awkward questions from my mother as to why I am on that particular channel. I don't even like sitcoms, but I still wind up watching it anyway. I can't look away.

Damn you Bea Arthur.

    I totally misread the title as "Why do ITV" which is a decent tv chanel.

    I don't watch much tv either. I usually just scan the tv guide for anything interesting and hit the record button so I can watch it at my leisure.

    It's not an advert. Just a slow descent into madness.

    SNL never made me laugh ever.

    I canceled my TV a few years ago after I realized I literally never use it all year except for Presidential debates and I just stream those.

    That sounds wonderful. Mainly in the sense of not having to explain the commercials obviously targeted at people who are very clearly not straight. Not really ready for that conversation.

    SNL was not funny about the time that Tina Fey stopped being able to perfectly riff Palin.
