Fate Grand Order - Craft Essence Experience Leveling

Rate this Entry
May as well have this in one spot for easy reference.

The point of this guide is to explain how to level Craft Essences in a way that minimizes both Quantum Piece and Friend Point costs.

There are a few things to keep in mind:

  • CEs store experience in three different ways:
    • CE's rarity (1000/3000/6000/10000/15000 for C/UC/R/SR/SSR CEs)
    • CE's level ([(CE level -1) * 10])
    • CE's stored exp (whatever has already been fed to it)

  • You're going to need a ton of space in the CE box, so spend those mana prisms on expansions if you haven't already.
  • Best time to do this is during a Great/Super Success bonus period, but if you spend lots of FP trying to chase some copies of an event's R Quartz Gacha CE, no biggie.

Note that only the CE rarity and CE level components of experience can benefit from Great/Super Success bonuses, which is why you should never feed a high level C CE as the "wildcard" in Step One, as it will always provide less potential bonus experience than even a level 1 UC CE.

Step One: Feed one level 1 CE with 4x duplicates of itself (4000 exp) + 12000 additional exp + a wildcard

  • The reason for the duplicates is so that the CE can be max Limit Broken immediately. This is important for two reasons:
    • Preventing the possibility of losing experience from hitting a level cap.
    • A recent change that made it more expensive to level CEs if they gain additional LB crystals along the way.

  • The 12000 additional exp can come in any form you want. I generally do either 4x UC CEs or 2x R CEs.
  • The wildcard should be at least R rarity. CE Exp cards make a good option here, but they are extremely rare.
  • Resulting CE will be level 11 and have 22,000 experience, at minimum.

Step Two: Repeat Step One 20 more times, for a total of 21 CEs
  • You do not need to make every one of these CEs max LB, but make sure that you have at least one copy that is, with that one preferably being the lowest level of the batch.
  • Each resulting CE will be level 11 and have 22,000 experience, at minimum.

Step Three: Combine 20 of the CEs created in Steps One and Two into the remaining 1 CE.
  • As mentioned above, the 1 CE should be max LB and the lowest level of the batch.
  • If made using a level 1 R card as the wildcard, each CE fodder should be level 11 with 22000 exp.
  • Resulting CE should be worth at least 464,000 exp, and be level 30.

Step Four: Repeat Steps One through Three 3 more times, for a total of 4 level 30 C CEs.

Step Five: Combine 3 of the CEs created in Step Four into the lowest level of the batch of 4.

Congratulations, you now have a C CE that's at level 48 (~1,856,000 stored experience). This is the highest you can raise a C CE without then directly adding newer stuff to it, which isn't really worth it unless you're short on storage space. You can now either add this CE directly to whatever you want to level, or make 7-8 more copies to feed the batch to a level 15 max LB SSR CE and instantly get it to 100.

Note: doing 8 will lead some some excess stocked experience of ~100k, so you could do 7 and supplement the rest of what the SSR needs with just stuff from Step One through Step Three.
