Next day, after school when Jiro’s back at the mansion Kanade asked him to explain himself for what happened yesterday. She had known they were hiding in the closet already she’s still smirking about what had happened. Jiro left out the details like Subaru was half-naked and he had to kiss her. Subaru had shut herself in her room for the entire day so far, something according to Kanade had never happened before.

Kureha’s still at the club and with Subaru out of action the mansion is a bit short-handed at the moment. Kanade let slip now’s a good time for Subaru to get closer to Jiro since he’s working here right now but she’s not taking advantage of this situation, but Jiro thought Kanade’s just referring to another one of her schemes.
Jiro’s task today is cleaning the garden, and this time he doesn’t have to do all of it at once and he’ll get his meals on time. From this morning he also got somewhat better food than last night. At Kanade’s place the servants eat with her, to Jiro’s surprise. Kanade says it’s better this way, and otherwise she’ll have to eat by herself.

Part of Kanade’s reasons to have Jiro and Kureha working for her is to prevent Nakuru getting closer to Jiro (Jiro though doesn’t think he’ll ever become boy/girlfriend with Nakuru). And without Subaru and her father around things will be dull at her home. Oh, and she says wants to troll him some more. Jiro is starting to get suspicious, as whenever she was trying to trick him she put on a façade of smiles and not telling him right off; it’s feeling like Kanade’s playing a ‘heel’ in professional wrestling and deliberately setting herself up to be disliked.

Someone knocked on the door, and Kanade said there’s a new helper working at her place.

It’s Usami. She’s pissed off that Kanade had bought off her boss, as she’s been told to come here in maid uniform when she went to her part time job earlier. After another scene of Kanade trolling Usami, Jiro asked her why did she come here anyway, it’s within her right to refuse a sudden transfer like this. Usami said it’s because the wage is 10,000 yen per day, and the board + food is free (she also didn’t say her other reason: Jiro is here). Jiro’s surprised Usami took the job regardless, as working for Kanade is like working for the devil. Usami also stated she’s worried about him and Kureha, so she wants to help them somehow. Jiro thought it’s weird for Kanade to hire Usami when the ojou-sama had previously said she doesn’t get along well with Usami (she sees through most of Kanade’s lies).

Ichigo came up to Kanade and reported there’s a intruder in the mansion. After some misunderstanding it turns out the intruder is just a rabbit. A rabbit is still troublesome since if it chewed a wire it might lead to a fire. Ichigo says it’s better than a cockroach though (she has a fear of them and asked Jiro to only call it G (first letter of cockroach in Japanese). Usami misunderstood it to mean ‘ghost’. After Usami figured out it’s cockroaches Ichigo told her there’s one at her feet and Usami tightly held onto Jiro for comfort, then after finding out it’s a lie she quickly knocked him flying. Jiro almost had a nosebleed with Usami holding onto him that tightly.
The same event happened a few more times, before they set off to find the rabbit. Kanade gave Usami rabbit ears to wear, and told her she has to wear them or lose half her pay. After 30 minutes of deciding whether she wants pride or the wages she put on the rabbit ears.

Ichigo is with Jiro and Usami as they searched for the rabbit. Jiro is amazed at how much weapons Ichigo brought with her after her trip back to her room. Ichigo replied to Jiro’s question, saying it’s her hobby collecting weapons.
Jiro stared at Usami’s new rabbit ears, ones that twitched when Usami is feeling displeased. Usami is still annoyed about having to wear the ears, while Jiro’s contemplating telling Usami’s boss to have Usami wear them at work because it looks so good on her.

After a while, Ichigo had them take a break. Usami went to the kitchen and made cake for them. All three of them enjoyed the cake, and Ichigo asked if Usami wants to be their chef from now on as their current one is too perverted. Usami is still too shy/distrustful towards others and declined the offer.
Ichigo asked if Jiro and Usami are going out together. Usami vehemently denied that. Ichigo muttered it’s a shame Jiro’s not with Usami.

Back to the search, they walked past Subaru’s room. Ichigo wants to get Subaru to help, but Subaru refuses to come out. They tempted Subaru with cake, but despite being hungry Subaru refused.
Ichigo has a plan to get Subaru out, and told Usami to play along or get her pay cut in half. Usami took her rabbit ears off (too embarrassing to have them on while doing this) and asked Jiro to kiss her. Jiro was bowled over by the moe but before he can do anything he was smashed away by the opening door and into the wall. As Ichigo expected, Subaru came barging out telling them they shouldn’t do something that shameless in ojou-sama (Kanade)’s home.
Subaru made eye contact with Jiro and blushed. Jiro wants to apologise for what happened yesterday but he’s too nervous to do so. He wasn’t this embarrassed when he had kissed Kanade before.

They told Subaru they’re searching for a rabbit, and she became nervous all of a sudden. The rabbit came out of hiding moments after they started grilling Subaru on the suspicion she knows something. Subaru is forced to hand the rabbit over as Ichigo said it’s Kanade’s orders, but the rabbit ran off before Ichigo had a good grip on it.
Jiro and others (Subaru was told to stay back by Ichigo just in case Subaru decides to turn against them at the last second) cornered the rabbit, and Ichigo tried to capture it. Due to trauma in her youth being bitten by a rabbit Ichigo fainted and couldn’t catch it.
Jiro tried next, but was kicked down by Usami as she said she’ll take care of the rabbit rather than hand it over to Kanade. Jiro belatedly remembered Usami likes rabbits as well, she had a rabbit picture cellphone screensaver back when he worked with her at the café.

Despite Usami’s efforts, the rabbit left her and went to Jiro and started licking him, acting like its comforting Jiro while at the same time being afraid of Usami. Jiro remembered Usami’s haunted and animal instincts told the rabbit to stay away from her.
Usami asked Jiro to run away with her and take the rabbit with them. Partially because he looked like he wanted to kiss her earlier despite his gynophobia and also to make sure he won’t fall to Nakuru and awaken his BL (Boy's Love) side.
Usami’s lips almost brushed Jiro’s cheeks before Subaru caught up, telling them Kanade found where the rabbit came from: a high class pet shop. Subaru told Usami the rabbit is of a rare breed (with document proof of being a pure-blood) and costs 50,000 yen in cash. Usami broke down since she can’t afford that.

The rabbit was taken away, and Jiro cheered Usami up. Subaru told her Kanade’s orders are for Subaru to teach her how to be a maid, so those two left. Jiro’s about to go back to gardening, but it’s almost dinnertime. He then got a text from Usami, telling him to beware of Ichigo.
Ichigo came up to him, telling him there’s a new job, and then knocked him out using a cloth of chemicals.
