One year ago today, Randy "Macho Man" Savage was found dead after a car crash in Seminole, Florida. He was 58 years old, and 6 years retired. We'll never forget you Randy.
It's a shame he passed when he did. He and McMahon were starting to repair their relationship, too. So many of these guys have died in the last decade or so that it's just staggering. Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, Big Bossman, Hawk, Mike Awesome, Crash Holly, Chris Candido... And I'm pretty convinced Scott Hall is gonna be dead within a decade. Have you seen the piece E-60 did on him? It's fucking depressing to watch. It's almost like the movie "The Wrestler" in real life.
Yeah, I've seen it. I saw that when it first came out, really really fucking depressing. More so when you find out he's passed out a few more times since then, went to jail, his son has given up on him, his friends have given up on him.....for a man who, I think, was one of the most underrated American Wrestlers in the 80's/90's to sink this low, to destroy his life so bad all of his friends just don't even attempt to make a difference anymore, it's.......I dunno man. I just don't know.
