To make up for my horribad grade in my 1st bimester, I'd need to get perfect grades on my homework, perfect grades on my general test and perfect grades on my math test, and then I'd have an average grade for the semester, lol.

fun fact: Even my shittiest grades are above the class average. Which means a good deal of other people in my class also need perfect grades to make up for the 1st bimester. And some of them can't make it up even with perfect grades.

1st bimester, y u so rape. Even our azn-level students got owned.

I really don't understand education systems like this. What's so wrong about "Teach them everything, then test them"? In most subjects, there's overlap between the various parts of it, right? One part can help you learn another, or better understand it. So why would you deny your students that and use marks from when they've just learned something? Blech.

@Lyco: Eh. It's not really that much hard work. Quite honestly I'm pretty chill about my grades(if you removed the general test who fucked the entire school over, I think I'd probably have a good enough grade in every subject except Chemistry), the only pressure I have is thanks to my relatives.

@Seika: Eh, I always leave it up to "lol brazilian education". What you propose kind of makes more sense, but I doubt the education system here will change anytime soon.

When watching TV, keep the room brightly lit, and I got owned in math the screen.
