Next Fic to be Updated: Is a matter of debate . . .


As I stated earlier, I could just run with the latest book of "Trinity" until it's done - and it's close, I think. Five chapters, tops, if I do it right. Or I could keep going with "Beast of the Moon," which, if I cut corners a bit, could also be close to being done. I'll be honest - following the video game is not turning out to be as much fun as I'd hoped, especially as the amount of playtime is not gentle on my CTS. If I'm going to run through other media, in future, I'll stick to books and movies/TV series - or be a bit more general, like a Darkstalkers tournament, or something.

Either way, serious planning will be required. I'm almost tempted to do the next chapter of Trinity as a flashback, of sorts - I was thinking an Auror report on the incident at the castle - but it feels like a cheat. On the other hand, I think I have enough action planned for the next bits to make it worthwhile. And in "Beast of the Moon," Sin's about to appear in time to meet "Operation Mi'hen" - so as I said, either way, serious planning is required . . .

    Huh. So you're thinking you might end Beast of the Moon at Mi'hen? Well, that's certainly cutting down all those long-term plotlines and learning from Yuna short, but if you're not enjoying it, then you're not enjoying it.

    Kieran, you can watch LPs on Youtube as an alternative for "relearning the content". Sure it won't have the same feel as doing it yourself and you may have to put up with annoying voices, but it won't cause your CTS to flare up/strain it.

    Well, at or slightly after. It's just . . . It's looking to be another story that will drag on far longer than I really want it to - and for the ending I have in mind, the payoff isn't really worth it.

    True, but trying to track down where I am in the storyline - and enduring the multiple moments where my computer will freeze the image for 30 seconds at a time while the voice track continues on, turning a ten-minute video into 20 - 25 minutes - doesn't seem that appealing, either . . . Especially when there are people who are waiting, and even eager, to get started on their own stories with the Grail Works characters.

    Is it fair to keep them waiting another six months to a year, just so I can finish what was supposed to be an introductory fic properly?
