There are no jobs where I live. At least, that is what I have found. And I am here at least until April of next year.

I can dream that an opportunity like the one I missed last year will present itself again, to work for Yen Press, or that the novel I'm finishing up now will instantly generate interest from the agents and publishers I'll be soliciting for it, but otherwise, I will suffer the general fate that most all writers face: I have chosen an artistic profession.

Most writers keep day jobs until they can live off the writing alone.

I know. And that would be where I am too, except I live in a college town, it's summer, and the economy sucks to begin with.
