Here I am browsing the releases for the PS3 as I intend to buy one soon enough. Lo and behold I found out that Okami was getting a 1080 HD remake for the PS3.

Okami was a wonderful game when it was first released back in the PS2. Not that it wasn't unpopular but most gamers often pass it by due to its unusual art style. It slowly spread by word of mouth that it was a great game that was a worth a try and those that did never looked back. It had a fantastic story, a wonderful world and art and the music is simply breath taking. It garnered multiple awards but never quite made it game of the year which I think it deserved over the overhyped FF12.

Don't believe me? FF12 is not getting a PS3 remake after all Proof is in the pudding!!

But overall I am very excited to see this game come to the PS3...makes me be thankful I didn't give in and bought a 360 or a Wii

    I know right . Its slated to be released during Q4 of 2012 but it will be out in Japan by November 2012! The original game is fantastic but I hope they add a few things like a Hard Mode which was my only real complaint in Okami. But I won't say no to new Karmic Transformations (Puppy!Ammy or Human!Ammy) or art (like the original Clover Studio art of the human form of Ammy)
