It has finally hit me. A giant wall that hits me every time I try to write something up. I can think it, imagine it, and even see it at times an idea or scene.

But now, something just stops me from typing whatever it is up.

Solution to fixing this? Because I can somewhat remember this feeling. The last time it came up, I quit AMV making.

I don't want to do that with writing. I like it. But something is blocking me from doing what I like.

    None, except for waiting for it to expire, or indeed to work on something else. Or to force yourself to, but forcing yourself tends to make it come out crap so I wouldn't advise forcing it.

    Yeah, me too. If my ideas were to become books everytime, I'm already an accomplished writer.

    I'm going to disagree with Dark Pulse and say to force it, because having crap is better than having nothing. You can always fix it in post.

    Until you write too far and wind up writing it to the point you'd have to redo half the story anyway to fix things.

    Yeah, I don't think forcing it works. You just end up feeling resentful and frustrated.

    You can't force creativity and, indeed, trying to do so just makes the block worse.

    You can however "force" your writing by, well, writing unrelated things like what you did in your day. That way you are only forcing yourself to write and not well write for a lack of a better word.

    I still think having to rewrite half the story is better than having nothing to rewrite in the first place.

    Well, if it works for you, go for it.

    To me, it's just terribly inefficient.
