So I just had a rush through the entire F/SN, F/HA, and Tsukihime novels...

So I just had a rush through the entire F/SN, F/HA, and Tsukihime novels...

Well, first off, my F/SN favorite route would be Heaven's Feel. I don't particularly like Sakura herself, but being a romanticist I supported Shirou Emiya's abandoning of his ideal to protect her. I also liked all the darker aspects. I'm also an idealist, but I found UBW crude and the original Fate route simply ordinary.
Favorite heroine would have to be...Saber, I guess? Don't particularly like Rin OR Sakura.
Favorite Servants would have to be 1. Assassin and 2. Gilgamesh. I just love Assassin's ability to match Heroic Spirits despite being a commoner wraith! Also, Gilga's ego is highly amusing...though I don't understand how he became a Heroic Spirit. Isn't he more like an anti-hero?
And favorite character overall would have to be Kotomine Kirei.

Even so, I was satisfied with it as a whole ;D

F/HA was meh for me, but I loved the large focus on Lancer. Oh Lancer. New character Bazett's relation with Lancer was touching as well, and I've gotta admit, she's really badass. Just as much as Lancer himself *v*

Then, there's Tsukihime. I can go on and on about this VN all day.
Favorite heroine would have to be Ciel. I mean, the others are great but Ciel's the one I thought was most awesome, and apart from that one-month-in-church-torture thing, she's surprisingly relatable. She's my favorite- oh, then I found out that she's the least-liked heroine. I don't get it. What's so unlikable about her? Aren't the parts where she wears her glasses just cute, especially since they match Shiki's own like a pair? And isn't her Church robe awesome and the fact that she's an Executor like Kotomine just awesome?! Isn't she a badass?! Yes?! Yes?! YES?!?!?!
Next would have to be Yumizuka Satsuki. She's just so...touching, and I get kinda sad every time Shiki is forced to kill her. Especially in Akiho's route. I heard there was gonna be a route for her but they didn't have enough time to finish it...DAMMIT. Though I did hear it'll be included in the remake...will it? WILL IT?! YES!?!?!? YES?!?!?!?!? I WANT THAT ROUTE. MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS MY PRECIOUS THE SATSUKI ROUTE... Lol okay not that precious, but still, I wonder how that route would play out? I guess Shiki doesn't kill the blood and gets turned into a vampire? But then again, Melty Blood comes from the supposed Satsuki Normal Route, so I guess he just spares her. Hope it isn't just a copy-paste of the original with the addition of her being spared and it being treated as a 'normal ending', because that would be too boring. I WANT MY SATSUKI ROUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! god look at me overreacting over galges whats wrong what with my head dammit nasu

Yumizuka Satsuki reminds me of Asagi Asigiri from Nippon Ichi. Hope she doesn't share her same fate.

    Turns out "hero" is a very broad definition.

    Also, Gil is Chaotic Good, somehow, so he is qualified to be a hero.

    It isn't that Ciel's unlikable, it's that Nasu almost kind of forced her in... especially with the H-scene. There's a reason the running joke is "Suppress Roa in Ciel's ass!"

    That and since a lot of the route is basically shared with the Arc route, it's more like you're getting shorted a route.

    On the bright side... she is the only heroine who does anal, so maybe that says something?

    ...There's proof you blew through it alright. Akiha-sama is most displeased with your lack of diligence.

    Also FWIW that scene is the same regardless of what Far-Side route you do.

    Melty Satsuki isn't the "real" Satsuki - IIRC, she was an illusion recreated by Wallachia as one of Tohno's fears. This would mean that Satsuki Normal ends with the real Satsuki dying somehow.

    Of course, this may well have been retconned and quite well could have been forgotten, given how some characters exist at the same time when others could not. (White Len is partially made from Wallachia's remains, for example, which is how Nanaya Shiki was brought into existence.) And I could be incorrect, since I'm going to bed right after I type this (and thus am tired).
