So, today I had planned to update either H&B or Utopia. I just finished the last polishing for my fic for the contest. However I found I just wasn't in a mood to write fanfic. Like not at all.

Instead I wrote like two and a half pages for "Scream Queen". I'll write a little more and update it for those who are still interested.

So, Roadbuster found someone who was locally selling German Shepard puppies on Craig's List. Now, it's no secret that I have wanted a dog of my own for the last few years after my beloved Malamute Bliz died of really old age. RB's cat's cool and all, but he's a cat and he's not my cat. So we've been looking at getting a dog for a while now, especially since we have a better house with a fenced in back yard.

Well, I call the number on Craig's List.

I've had a sort of rough last few weeks. My work has been requiring extra
overtime (a lot of it) and my father has been in and out of the hospital
like a revolving door. I've been stressed, angry, sick, and depressed.

So, in my last blog post I admitted that I wanted to cross my In Progress Novel (or rather the main character) with the Hound and the Blacksmith verse.
