I mean the second one. The first definition of greedy in your post... Nah. I don't think that's greedy at all.

EA and Capcom come to mind when it comes to being greedy. Now that I think about it, From Software ain't greedy. I just wanted others' thoughts on this. Because trusting a game company like From makes you have additional faith in their games. Not to say they're games are not already awesome.

CDProjektRed ain't greedy. They released a crack for their own game, when DRM was causing problems on release, then patched the DRM out.

Probably the best developer I know(business practice wise)
