The irony that Hurricane Sandy is making a mess of the East Coast and I'm complaining about warm weather is not lost on me.

So I was rummaging through the ungoldy abyss that is my closet the other day and I come across this sweet Eddie Bauer jacket that is pretty much the exact same kind that Soujuurou Shizuki wears, only it's a somewhat lighter color. If I could darken it up with some dye or whatever and grow out my hair a bit I could have myself a no-fuss cosplay to wear to the next 'con.

Fuck it. I'm going in. There'll be two other games anyway.

That's it. I've given in - halfway, at any rate - and listened to the Mahoyo soundtrack.

From a personal standpoint I think its right up my alley. Lots of quiet, calming tunes (any of Alice's leitmotifs, Idyllic Blue, and of course the gorgeous main theme), beats with hard-hitting electronic vibes (decision/turbulence overdrive, First Star), and even some not-so-sneakily sneaked in public domain classical (I'm a big fan of Gymnopedie and anything derived from it).
