Been kept busy by the internship these past few weeks. Started out just labeling vials and occasionally pipetting some stuff, but was allowed to passage cells in a biosafety cabinet last week. And I've done more serial dilutions and made more agar plates of bacteria than I would perhaps have liked. Also I got to observe some surgeries (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, duodenoduodenostomy, etc.) and sit in on a morbidity and mortality conference. On the one hand I was gratified and a bit surprised to find that I'd been accepted into a program I applied for. ...but since there happened to be a Joysound I at least got to sing a few KnK songs as well as Crimson Eyes (Enkidu's song to Gil in the Fate/Zero tribute album) and even Lilium from Elfen Lied, with classical pronunciation of course because fuck medieval Latin.
