So I got someone into FSN, and he asked me how Shirou and Gil's powers were different, because he is confused by all the sword rain. I wanted to explain it simply, because I didn't want him to be further confused.

me: Gil has all the originals of every weapon in the world, but Shirou can copy all those weapons and he can make more of them at the same time, just of lower quality.
newbiedude: so quantity over quality?

As nice as it is, can't help but feel it's a bit dull.

I know, I know. I've read the VN and I know that they are trying to make it as faithful and as entertaining as it possibly could, but I think that's the problem. It's source material was a VN, and the VN was full of expositions and inner thoughts so was thus slow and was not really packed with action. But that was fine for that medium, you were meant to dissect it and appreciate the story, character development and world building. ...

Is it really that unpopular? Because even with the upcoming anime there still hasn't been any kind of 'pop'. If it really is not that popular then that's sad because of how charming and funny it is.
