I believe the standard Professional uses Cherry Blues. The Professional S uses Cherry Browns.

The money's already been spent, so it's not an issue of "I'll buy it if you say it." It's already been done, heh.

And I'll note, there's still some keys up for grabs...

Based on the fact they said "about nine months" with the March 2011 debut trailer, that would mean since June 2010. Thus, by the time it comes out, about 2 1/2 years of dev will have went into it.

Man, this looks brilliant. Do we have any idea how long they've been working on this? It looks like it would take a few solid years with those graphics and a team that small.

Nice to know about Indie Gala, and Indie Royale. I've known about the humble bundle, but not the other two. Thanks for the mention.
I got the humble bundle involving Super Meat Boy recently, myself.
I'd send you the pm, but I've already got too many games in my backlog to need more. You're better off spending the money on someone else.

To add on another amazing one, here's a player beating Pokemon Yellow (GBC) in 1 minute, 9 seconds. Ash Ketchum mysteriously walks through his TV, and by doing so, violates the laws of space-time and becomes the Grand Champion - LITERALLY SKIPPING THE ENTIRE GAME.

To use the schema that TASVideos.org uses:

    • Uses warps
    • Uses a game restart sequence
    • Heavy glitch abuse
    • Corrupts save data
    • Corrupts memory
    • Heavy luck manipulation

Needless to say, the way he does this (as described in the author's notes) is nothing short of fascinating.

As they like to say, "Here at TASVideos we make perfect movies... and then we beat them again."

They're constantly finding new glitches, tricks, and things to use. In some movies, the improvement on a previous run is not measured in seconds, or even tenths of seconds, but in frames.

Yeah, and the ones that abuse glitches can do the game ridiculously fast. The current world record is a 0-star run that takes a mere five minutes - and the first minute of this is the game forcing you to sit through the introductory cutscene! He doesn't enter a single course (Except for a single time entering Dire, Dire Docks to immediately quit and reset himself back to the main foyer) and abuses the hell out of the game programming to warp himself straight to Bowser.

I never said I felt pessimistic about it - was more of an ironic comment. That would be more how the person who got offended with it would feel - since I wasn't shocked at her death, I was an asshole; ergo, the comment.

Shit happens, good and bad. Take it and deal with it. That's pretty much how I view things. Doesn't mean I have to like them (or not) but I'll acknowledge the factors that came about it. She used drugs for at least ten years, so the fact she died young should shock absolutely no one. Therefore, the fact I shrugged my shoulders and stated it wasn't surprising is just stating facts, but to him, this made me an asshole. I'm not going to lose a wink of sleep over how he thinks about me, though, as I really don't care much for him either (I won't even get into the crackpot shit he thinks of religion and/or aliens).

If anything, I'd describe myself as either a cheerful pessimist or a muted optimist. Depends on the day. That said, I certainly don't view everything in such black and white terms. At the same time, I don't get all overhyped about things, nor let them constantly grind me, either.

"One of the downsides to being a realist, I guess."

Go play Rin Tezuka's route on Katawa Shoujo. Please. And read it carefully, lest I say that specific line to you. Also...

"Seeing the bad in people makes you a bad person by proxy."

By saying this line, you lose your license, birthright and freedom to call yourself realist. Pessimism isn't realism, just as optimism isn't.
