    A few of you may remember this blog post I made in April 2012 in regards to a young female Shepherd dog who lived in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, as I expected, it ended in tragedy.

    As I mentioned in the blog post, one of my main concerns with the dog was her lack of training in regards to cars and her extremely long leash; long enough for her to lunge out after a car and possibly get hit or grazed.     Over the past few days I've been touching up, updating, and generally rewriting my old resume. It desperately needed an update and a rewrite because of my major change, but I've been going back to it because my hope is to get an internship this summer. I have to do an extra year at school and, while my journalism program does require a six credit internship in order to graduate, I won't be able to take it until the semester of my graduation, and I'd like to have a little more experience than just ...

    Now every time I try to watch or read something I end up sitting there wondering what kind of message it's trying to send, and whether or not it challenges stereotypes or enforces them. No seriously, I watched Rizzoli & Isles last week and then spent the day after trying to figure out if the show enforces or challenges female stereotypes.

    Oh man, I should totally do a rewatch of some of my old favorite classic series (here's looking at you, Utena). That would be a lot of fun to ...
