  2. Never Gets Easier.

    I'm taking a class this semester, Intro to Communication and Information. It's one of my requirements for that new journalism major I'm working on, and this week we spent some time dissecting a phone conversation between two people. We came to the conclusion, from watching how they communicated, that they weren't particularly close friends. The guy was in trouble, and the other person wasn't jumping to help him.

    I find it ironic that we discussed that, considering the text I got today ...

  3. WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE THAT.

    So this evening I fished out my DVD for the Noir anime series and decided to watch a little bit of it. And since I had vaguely fond memories of the English dub from years past when I first watched the show, I decided to keep it in English because I really didn't see the harm in it.

    Until I watched episode 19.

    Now, for the unaware: Noir is an anime by Bee Train, the first of their Girls With Guns trilogy, which also features Madlax and El Cazador de La Bruja. I've watched ...

  5. Well, it's official.

    My trusty old iPod Classic has gone up to that big Apple store in the sky.

    It crashed a few days ago when I was out shopping with my mom and my sister. I tried doing a quick Restore on it through my iTunes, and suspected deeper problems were going on when my iTunes didn't even register the existence of my iPod. I ended up taking it to an Apple store today with my dad near home, and yep, it's pretty much dead.

    The server crashed, basically. The hardware isn't being recognized, ...
