Over the past few days I've been touching up, updating, and generally rewriting my old resume. It desperately needed an update and a rewrite because of my major change, but I've been going back to it because my hope is to get an internship this summer. I have to do an extra year at school and, while my journalism program does require a six credit internship in order to graduate, I won't be able to take it until the semester of my graduation, and I'd like to have a little more experience than just ...

On the school side of things, finally got my application for switching into the School of Communication and Information, and the journalism major, submitted tonight. I worked on the one page essay over the weekend, touched it up a bit, and put it in. Now it's just a waiting game on their response to see if I'll be accepted or rejected. I think my chances are pretty good and the acceptance rate is apparently pretty high, but I'm still a little nervous about it.

Those of you who have been following my writing-related blogs probably saw this coming from like a mile away, and I also have the information posted to my FF.net profile, but also just for reference here: I'm going to be taking a break from writing FSN for a little bit.
