Had 5 tenhou matches today, with Zero and deviousj.

Managed to not lose too horribly at least(...usually), and learned a bit more about what the fuck I was doing wrong as well. So I'd say it was a decent set of matches overall, my lack of winning being a non-issue given the opponents I was up against. ^_^'

So, three person match on tenhou in the main lobby. It goes back and forth quite awhile, with me on the receiving end of some rather nasty hands.

And then, somehow, both me and North ron off of poor Left. Took him down from about 30k to 12k all at once.

I sat there and laughed for a good minute, I did. Nearly screwed up the hand I was dealt as a result.
Also went up in rank to 7 kyuu after that match.

Well, some poor deity decided to smile on me for once.

Started a 3-person tenhou match, and each of the three hands I was dealt during that match was......damn nice, let's say. As in, 'I fuck it up and I should probably just quit mahjong forever' type of nice. Fortunately, I made use of my bout of good luck and managed to grab first place in that match.

First hand, I've got a series of winds and a decent batch of sou's with a pair of pins left as the odd ones out. Got rid ...

Well, had a match in tenhou against two other folks a bit ago.

It went alright, but I fucked up at least twice with my discards. (what was I thinking, pitching those sou's in the first hand? -__- )

Didn't help that whoever was North seemed to know what he was doing far more than me or poor Right. (who ended with only 1000 points to his name)

Overall, wasn't too bad, but I really could have done much better. My problem seems to be that I second-guess myself ...
