I guess, I don't have the patience for this....but alright I'll try this but i'm done for today it was frustrating

Use the stick to bring the arrow back. Not the D-Pad, the stick, since its faster.

But it runs away when the arrow goes red!

And everytime I got it to a 1/3 of the way there it freaking jumps to the red line and I lose all the progress I made!

Stop pressing the button when it jumps =V

Serious answer, just press the button when you are 100% sure that its in the blue zone.

I've been doing that for over an hour maybe more!

But everytime I try to reel it in, it's jumps causing it to go on the red zone keeps making me go back on square 1.

Oh wait it's O? I dunno whicheever button you use to reel. I don't remember, nor do I think when I am doing it =V

X Prevents it's escape then what's the point of using O?

Hmm, reel it only with the triangle button only then. Just use X to avoid its escape and done. It isn't as hard as vanilla P4 so… yeah.

I Know that...but the blasted thing is so hard to actually catch!

Finding him is easy but catching the bloody thing is an entirely different story, Spent more than an hour trying to fish him out but in the end, we're in a stalemate....

You have the sea rod I assume? If so go to the sea when it's raining. It's easier this way. Now use the Genji Kabuto bait ad check the ripples on the rod. If the ripples are exaggeratedly big, like huge, then congrats you got yourself a sea guardian. If not, recast your rod and throw the same bait again. Repeat until success. You'll need 3 if you are doing the quests so get cracking.
