Does anyone know of good software that can be used to digitally create or alter sound effects? I found bfxr, but does anyone know of any other programs that do this- possibly with more freedom over what sounds are created? Also, what kind of program would that be called, a synthesizer?

Alternatively, what kind of process would be able to achieve the same result without sacrificing efficiency, while maintaining effectiveness? Is the industry means of doing this any different? I know ...

So as some of you guys know I'm from Singapore. My ISP provides a dynamic IP address.

.. the words 'information' and 'facts'?

I always thought 'facts' referred exclusively to truths, but after having a look at discussions elsewhere (in a Science thread, no less) it seems that others think that 'facts' should instead refer to descriptions of real occurrences, regardless of truth.

After that I went to check the definition of 'information' on the free dictionary and here it goes:

I'm a bit confused on this matter so I'd just like to clarify. Who owns the rights to Japanese music/anime OSTs, and how would one go about trying to acquire rights to use aforementioned music legally in a production?

Kind of like how (I presume) American movies sometimes take songs (that were not composed for the sake of the movie) and insert them in during runtime.

Usually I can sort of hazard the general meaning with what little kanji I know, or put it in Google for some help... but this is bewildering. Can't copy+paste the text off of the dialog either.

The fourth kanji doesn't make any sense to me. Basically, word-for-word I get '(all) te no (What's this character) (eyes) wo (into) (strength) shi te ...
