I. Am. Frustrated.

I need to come out with this. It's been bothering me since before I joined, and even though I'll probably sound like an idiotic fangirl here, I don't care - I just want to express my frustration with one particular thing.

There is not enough Lancer x Bazett in existence.

It's basically my top Fate ship, period. There are a few others that I ship really hard, but Lancer x Bazett is pretty much my number one. And while I can sort of understand why some of my other favorites are rare (Saber x Assassin is really freaking bizarre), I don't really see any reason why Lancer x Bazett should be so rare.

...Of course, that's probably just me being a crazed fangirl, but eh. It still bothers me, and while I want to do something to amend it, I'm not good enough at writing and I don't know enough about the forum or its members to amend it in other ways. So here I'll just sit and wallow in my frustration until I can finally do something about it or until I give up on it altogether.

I'm insane.

    Another point: The Bazett/Lancer fight in UC is obviously based on the FHA fight. The one where you have to steel Lancer in order to get him to help you, and it has a ton of imagery that points to them being, if not completely in love with each other, obviously close to it.

    Ah, of course. Although, that does lend a bit more shiptease in that direction, even if we aren't going to consider the ship canon.

    Carnival Phantasm nor F/HA should be treated as 100% canon, though, for obvious reasons to anyone who is familiar with both, let's remember this.

    It's more like 1/3 truth, 2/3 wild hallucinations in F/HA's case. And CP... well, the whole thing is done for gags.

    and yes, Ayako x Lancer.
    or Genderbent Shirou x Lancer, lol. i kind of ship that mainly for humourous reasons because lancer said hed be more than okay with that in HA...

    ...Funny enough, I was going to ship Ayako/Lancer as sort of a sub ship, but then I saw everyone seemed to be using it in place of Lancer/Bazett and that invoked my fangirl rage :x

    I played through everyone's in that game actually. In Lancer's, Bazett was already "dead" and he was getting his vengeance on. Which, considering Cu's mythos, is pretty true to "character".

    Best ending, other than Archer's Good End, was Gilgamesh getting Saber, I thought that was fucking hilarious.

    I even wrote a short story somewhere that was pairing her off with Archer that was lost when the old BL crashed.

    Actually, HA is canon, at least in terms of the characterisation.

    CP, on the other hand, is most definitely not. It's not even written by TM.

    I NOTICED THIS. It's not fair to Bazett. At all. And pairing Lancer with any of the others listed is... well, like pairing Assassin with Yukika :x
    Y'know Assassin/Yukika is implied pretty hard in HA, right? There's actually a canon basis for it.

    Also I personally think Avenger/Bazett is a much better pairing, not least because they actually have more than one scene's worth of interaction unlike Lancer and Bazett, but whatever floats your boat I guess!

    CP, on the other hand, is most definitely not. It's not even written by TM.
