Well, Apple mentioned SL125, so I'm assuming it's pre existing characters in DS1.

Edit: Then again, it also mentions mass summoning, so maybe DS2?

Essentially, you pick a 'character' you want to theme around. Like crusader, valkyrie, ninja, harlot, etc and dress the part. You can change 'classes' if you like but the look must always match your new class. Armor at least. Fashion souls is important here. Git gud or git out.

I do this with every character ever and in my mind I have really silly epithets for them

I have a ton of playtime in 'Buckethead' Brutus, a strong man using only strength weapons, never a shirt, and always a black iron helmet, and 'Horrible' Helen, my scummiest character who always ran with 0 poise and I mastered ultra fast ringswapping just so I could ringswap to DWGR, roll for a BS and swap the DWGR to a Hornet mid-roll. But my favorite was 'Tricksy Trish,' my only pvp character that actually used magic. Hidden weapon + Obsidian Greatsword = what is that guy doi- OH SHIT OGS.
