Writing Progress: Trinity Chapter 60 - 35% complete. I should be working on "Beast of the Moon," I know, but this is what I seem to be in the mood to work on.

As a lot of people don't know a great deal about Robotech (and it's likely Kurai will cross paths with it somewhere), a quick precis on the three Wars which comprise the show.

First Robotech War/Macross Saga - The Global Civil War of 1999 was interrupted by the arrival of the Visitor - a massive spacecraft which yielded a new energy source, Protoculture, and led to the development of Robotechnology, primarily in the form of fighter jets that transform into 50-ft. tall robots. Ten years later, the equally massive Zentraedi arrive on Earth, looking for the lost space fortress - and the Matrix hidden inside it which is the last known source of Protoculture in the universe. Hotshot stunt pilot Rick Hunter finds himself unintentionally drafted into the battle for Earth's survival - and thus begins a legend . . .

Second Robotech War/Masters Saga - Ten years ago, the Robotech Expeditionary Force left Earth to seek out the Zentraedi's Robotech Masters, and negotiate a lasting peace - unaware that the Masters had left their homeworld in search of their lost armada. Now the last survivors of the Robotech Masters and their society have arrived in the Sol system, desperate to recover the Protoculture Matrix the Zentraedi failed to acquire for them - and they will have it, even if they have to annihilate the Earth first. Seventeen-year-old Dana Sterling, daughter of the legendary Robotech aces Max and Miriya, must lead her Hovertank squadron to victory in the defence of the Earth - if they don't get themselves thrown into prison, first.

Third Robotech War/New Generation - The appearance of the Flower of Life at the end of the Second Robotech War called to the Invid, the ancient enemies of the Robotech Masters and their Zentraedi soldiers. Now, they occupy Earth, reducing the remnants of humanity to a slave population - but hope is not lost. Admiral Rick Hunter of the Robotech Expeditionary Force is already making plans to retake Earth from the Invid invaders - and it's up to Lieutenant Commander Scott Bernard, last survivor of the Mars Division Combat Group, to make it happen. Armed only with the latest Robotech mecha - a motorcycle capable of becoming powered armour - this dedicated soldier will fight his way through the Invid hordes, and forge his way across the continents, to carry out his mission and destroy Reflex Point, the heart of the Invid occupation force. But he might need a little help . . .
