I create a world of finite somethings

I call upon your help

One of the things I help my former university's anime club with is a Jeopardy game they play every year for Halloween. I try to diversify the categories and answers to cater to wide ranging tastes and to make sure no single person can just dominate because 75% of the answers are mecha related and they heart mecha or whatever. I also try to involve some of the different areas people tend to focus on, whether the music, the studios, the seiyuu, convention experiences, that sort of thing.

When figuring out answers, I obviously try to avoid my own biases and favorites so people can't just assume "Well, he loves x series, so it'll be an answer most definitely." I often just base it around frequent titles that are newsworthy on ANN or Crunchy or the like, but thought you guys might lend a hand.

So if you're up for it, I'm gonna put up a few things. Without thinking too hard on it, give me the name of the first title or character you think of when you see each. If you don't know any without looking it up on ANN or a wiki, just skip it.

My guilty pleasure is Bleach. I just like seeing the big fights of the manga animated to Shiro Sagisu's amazing soundtrack. I'm sticking with the manga due to the sunk costs fallacy. I'm this far in, so I might as well see how it all ends now that we're in the (possibly) final arc.
  12. francobull3's Avatar
Mhh, honestly most of the fights in the anime were not that well animated.
Ironically, the arc that is considered the worst (fullbring arc) has the best animation, probably because it was the last animated arc, so they could use the leftover budget as they pleased.
The openings are damn sweet tho.

I loved the Fullbringers and everything about that arc. People were pissed it scaled things back to deal with the more human side of things instead of the usual my power level is bigger than yours schtick.
  14. francobull3's Avatar
True, honestly I did not mind it at all, but It was pretty weird to go back to more mundane power levels after the whole becoming god shenaningan with Aizen.
  15. Arashi_Leonhart's Avatar
Shit I should've put Show Hayami down as a seiyuu and see if anybody at all puts down Wolfwood or even Aizen on this forum.
