There's something incredibly satisfying about someone taking an old game, that us older farts would consider classic (and you young'uns never got to play in their prime because you weren't around then) and just completely, utterly, totally raping and destroying any appearance of challenge or skill necessary to play it. Recently, I've been in the mood for some anime from the 80's and 90's. I think I will begin with some good ol' Mobile Suit Gundam and maybe the Slayers anime. Also, I was wondering if any other members here sometimes go back and watch some old anime?

Well, had a match in tenhou against two other folks a bit ago. It went alright, but I fucked up at least twice with my discards. (what was I thinking, pitching those sou's in the first hand? -__- ) Didn't help that whoever was North seemed to know what he was doing far more than me or poor Right. (who ended with only 1000 points to his name) Overall, wasn't too bad, but I really could have done much better. My problem seems to be that I second-guess myself ...
Yeah, my brother let me borrow The Slayers Seasons 1-3 today, and I was inspired to watch it by the fact that I had read a Slayers/Nanoha crossover called Blood That Flows, and I wanted to try to write something similar... now if only I could. As far as what I'd write about, I'd try a triple-crossover, but the stories I'd cross over are a secret until I publish the crossover on FanFiction.Net. Later... for now.
