I suppose I should explain - about two years ago, during a physical, my doctor decided that my feet needed a little corrective surgery. Nothing major, or life-threatening, but something that ought to be done. I made an appointment with a surgeon, got assurances, and basically put any plans I had to do major exercise (i.e., to get into shape before applying to the armed forces), or anything else of the kind, on hold until the surgery was done. OK, so, people are asking what happened with my ban, so I thought I'd explain it before DP can come up with a bunch of excuses.
